He was selected for the DDCA Ranji Trophy Probables for the 2015-16 season, showcasing his exceptional skills and earning recognition as one of the top talents in Delhi's cricketing circles. This achievement was preceded by his selection for the DDCA Ranji Trophy T-20 Probables in the 2014-15 season, further cementing his reputation as a formidable cricketer. His consistent performance on the field earned him a spot in the DDCA Ranji Trophy team trials and camps at the prestigious Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi during the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. Additionally, Jitender was selected for the DDCA under-22 State team trials and camps in 2009, 2010, and 2011, demonstrating his commitment to honing his skills and competing at the highest level. Jitender's prowess as a medium-fast bowler was evident in the DDCA League, where he took over 100 wickets between 2009 and 2012, the most by any medium-fast bowler during that period. His exceptional wicket-taking ability made him a sought-after player, and he represented several prominent clubs in the DDCA League, including Delhi Blues, NSCC, College Group, FCI, and C K Khanna.
